Noah’s Ark is America’s Largest Waterpark – spanning an impressive 70 acres! They opened in 1979. Today, the park offers 51 waterslides, 2 wave pools, 2 lazy rivers, and 6 additional attractions.
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic hit and Noah’s Ark did not open the park for the summer. It was kind of weird as we drove through the Wisconsin Dells that summer. Many businesses closed and we had an eerie feeling as we drove down the mostly empty streets.
During the spring of 2021, we saw that they had a deal on their tickets to enter the park. If you bought a day ticket, you would get the season for free. We thought that our two oldest kids were at a good age to enjoy most attractions, and we thought it was a great deal, and jumped on it! Steven had never been to Noah’s Ark, and Leah had gone a few times when she was younger.
The summer of 2021 came, and so did our first family trip to Noah’s Ark. After our first visit, the kids loved it and we were hooked and planning our next visit! Now, we will admit that Noah’s Ark didn’t have all of the attractions open every time we went, but we still found plenty to do. The crowds were still on the lighter side, due to things slowly starting to open back up, which was kind of nice. We got our money’s worth, and took a trip to Noah’s Ark at least once a month in the summer of 2021.
After a great 2021 season, we were hoping they would offer a similar deal for 2022. Sure enough, they offered a deal similar to that for Black Friday. We ended up buying 1 Gold and 3 Silver Season Passes for 2022.

The Silver Season Passes Includes:
- Unlimited 2022 Summer Admission (No Blackout Dates)
- All-Season Parking Included
- 20% off Food and Retail
- 50% off Cabanas (must be purchased in-park day of visit)
- $5 off Locker Rentals
- Bring 4 friends per visit at discounted rate ($15 weekdays/$20 weekends)

The Gold Pass had a few more perks than the silver, and we were looking to try and use some of them for this summer but didn’t want to spend the additional money for each family member. The Gold Pass also included the All-Season Parking Pass. They also offered cheaper options, but the fine print on those indicated that they had blackout dates that didn’t allow you to enjoy the waterpark on certain holidays and they blacked out all Saturdays. That would surely limit our trips to the park, and thought the extra money for the tickets was worth it.
We will be taking our first trip to Noah’s Ark for 2022 in June. We look forward to sharing with you what has changed since last year and why it should be on your list of places to visit while in the Wisconsin Dells.
