Our Experience
Our family often travels to the Dells multiple times throughout the year. The Dells is always opening new attractions, and we are always eager to give them a try.
During the weekend of November 15, our family of 5 was in the Dells and was staying at the Wilderness Resort. We had seen that Aquavia Lumina was now open and we booked our tickets online ahead of time for the Friday night of our stay, for the 6:30pm timeslot. It should be noted that they have timeslots available every 15 minutes.
We arrived at approximately 6:15pm and immediately made our way out to the Welcome Area. They had multiple firepits and had some hot cocoa and cocktails available to purchase.
Our Journey Begins
We made our way to the Aquavia Lumina sign where a staff member was eager to take a family picture.
We were then directed to the pathway where our journey began. From the second we stepped foot on the main pathway, we were fully immersed in this experience. From the lighting to the sounds of music and nature that was playing in the background, it is truly something hard to describe.
As we continued to proceed down the pathway we were introduced to the fawn. This fawn’s journey would continue through a canyon and along the pathway that we would continue to follow.
Each zone that we traveled to had different sounds and special effects that truly enhanced the storytelling. We arrived at each zone in awe, and it seemed as though each zone got better and better as we went along the journey.
Towards the end we witnessed the deer transform into its true self. We then entered the last zone, The Source. The lasers and effects in this zone were truly mesmerizing. We all said that we could have stayed in this zone all night.
Our family was all very impressed by the time our journey ended. This is something that we have never seen before and is such a welcome addition to the Wisconsin Dells.
We would highly recommend you checking it out during your next visit to the Dells. It is something that these pictures and words cannot do justice and is something that you have to see in person. We are still talking about and something that the whole family, both young and old, will enjoy.
It should also be noted that staff members were scattered throughout the pathway encouraging you to stop and take everything in at various points throughout the journey. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
